Climate
Kunachû Edæ has a yearly average temperature of 14°C (57°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a warm 27°C (80°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a cold 2°C (35°F). Kunachû Edæ receives an average of 296 cm/y (116 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of snow during the pleasantly short winter months. Kunachû Edæ covers an area of nearly 5 km2 (2 mi2), and an average elevation of 2142 m (7027 ft) above sea level.
Overview
Kunachû Edæ was founded durring the early 10th century, by Rhun Shegfèdo. The establishment of Kunachû Edæ suffered from several major issues, resulting in the need to develop many solutions to basic problems. Problems such as a lack of fresh water, logistical support, poor quality tools, and the odd monster or two. Howeaver, these were overcome in time.
Kunachû Edæ was built using the conventions of Wareneese durring the early 10th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Kunachû Edæ is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.
Kunachû Edæ is buildings are located arround a single spacious packed earth mainstreet which forms a clockwise spiral to give the town a over all circular shape. The town resides behind a palisade wall complete with battlments, a moat, and timber gatehouses with drawbridges. The town's robustly designed timber walls are visibly old, but also obviously well maintained. Its likly the local malishia or garrison are tasked with routine mantance of the town's defences.
The first thing you notice about Kunachû Edæ is the large sign at the entrance welcoming you to their humble town. Children come up to you and say hi, some asking if you’ve fought any big monsters, and others just zipping away after their hello. The adults are much the same. By the time you’ve made it a significant way into the town you’ve been invited to a tavern for a pint to drink in exchange for news of the world. You’ve also had no less than three older women give you a sweetroll and direct your attention to their still unmarried children. It would be creepy if it wasn't so sincere.
Civic Infrastructure
Kunachû Edæ has an Office of Civil Groundskeeping, which works to enforce local ordinances relating to the construction and upkeep up of all plant life, water features, and other natural decorations within Kunachû Edæ. They are also responsible for the maintenance of these features. Notably, the OCG is not responsible for Kunachû Edæ's parks.

Cultural Notes
Kunachû Edæ's mayor's house was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is best known for the combined use of arcuated and trabeated construction, employing arches and constructed with post and lintel. The arch served as the style's chief structural element, with flanking columns serving as buttresses or decorations. While the general shape of their structures could be generously described as simplistic, the use of these arches and columns created a most distinct ascetic which is easily distinguishable on sight to armatures and experts alike.
In Kunachû Edæ snow is warm to the touch and does not melt within city limits. Also it only happens during summer.
The Dryad, Half-Fiend near Kunachû Edæ are known to be almost tame, such that they can be put to domestic use.
Kunachû Edæ's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in winter and involves sex to channel Wild Magic energies of tier 3 via recitation of poetic epics.
